The included breech plug is a Full Plastic Jacket breech plug suitable for Full Plastic Jacket loading. The breech plug should be removed at the end of each shooting session for a thorough cleaning of the bore and breech area. Breech plugs are still available from Knight. The removal tool was for early MKs that had a slotted breech plug. The later ones were 7/16" hex head. It seems the 900024 should work in your rifle, and should ignite Blackhorn, but i really wouldn't know. There probably will be a lot of blowback.The breech plug was near seized! I had to clamp it in a vise securely and work the breech plug slowly back and forth to remove it. It was the most difficult removal I ever encountered with this rifle.
