Losing mucus plug at 27 weeks

I have been losing mine since 36 weeks, it was consistently losing it for 2 weeks then nothing. But I guess your body slowly regenerates it. I started losing it again at 39 weeks and I have 40weeks 4 days now. So I don’t think it necessarily means labor is near unless you have the bloody show with it

My birth class lady said you can start losing your plug (bits and pieces or the whole thing) anywhere from 34 weeks (kinda early---traditionally around 36 weeks) to right before birth.
