Depends on if you want the ability to use the Beryl optics mounting system. The Jack still has the standard side rail. I went with the Jack b/c I like the classic AKM look and can still mount optics if I want to. Only difference is Beryl optic mounting trunion on Fox if that matters to you.

From what I’ve seen the fox has received positive feedback. Can’t find too much on the jack. Any recommendations on one or the other? The Fox barrel starts to bronze after 3-6 mags or 1 mag dump. The furniture is laminate and chips, delaminates and cracks down the pressed wood seams. The Fox finishing is smooth, hate to shoot it. ZPAP has good finishing, paint is more coarse than the slick FOX! Keep in mind that 7.62 has quite a bit more drop than 5.56 ad well. A lot of AK accuracy woes in my experience are overstated because post and notch had a learning curve, and because people underestimate drop.
